Anna
Lyon
I'm your local food expert based in Lyon, the capital of gastronomy. My job is simple: I help travelers know exactly where to eat and how to experience French food culture like a local. I run food tours in the city and spend my days discovering and testing the best spots, from traditional bouchons, bakeries to hidden pastry shops and modern French restaurants. Every recommendation I share is personally selected and focused on authentic French experiences. I mainly work with international travelers, especially from the US, Australia and Canada, so I understand what visitors expect when discovering France: great food, local culture and unforgettable memories!

Yana
Naples, Salerno +2
Hi! I’m Yana, a licensed tour guide in Naples, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast. I moved to Italy more than 10 years ago, earned a degree in History and Languages, and followed my passion for art and archaeology straight to Naples, a city that completely stole my heart. Having lived in Spain, China, Russia, and Brazil, I truly believe that travel heals the heart. And in Italy, I’ve embraced another passion: food. Over the past decade I’ve explored every corner of Naples in search of the best coffee, the perfect sfogliatella, and the most irresistible lemon delight to go with it. I’ve wandered the city looking for the coziest aperitivo spots and discovered incredible hidden gems, quiet little paradises where you can escape the vibrant, chaotic energy of Naples. Pompeii is like a second home to me. I know every street and corner, and I can’t wait to share its fascinating story with you, passionately bringing the ancient city back to life as we walk through it together.

I adore London! I have lived and worked in London all of my life. As a London Blue Badge Tourist Guide, I’m in and around it’s famous landmarks, and quirky places every day!

Vittoria
Rome, Florence +12
Hi, I'm Vittoria and I'm 100% Italian. I was born in Tuscany, in Arezzo, but I've lived in various Italian cities, Rome, Milan, Florence, and I've practically visited the entire country. I'm passionate about discovering new and unique activities, as well as trying new places to eat and incredible places to visit. I'm very good at organizing trips both alone and with friends. I enjoy so many different things, so I can help with sports, cultural, and culinary activities.
A more human way to travel.
"Rosa gave us off-the-beaten-track recommendations for Puglia that we never would have found online. Exactly what we were looking for."
"I booked a 45-minute call with Riccardo straight from his profile. Within minutes he had cut through the noise and given me a real plan."
"Mike was funny, interesting, and gave us so much context for our trip to Rome. The kind of advice you only get from someone who actually lives there."
Things travellers ask.
If you already know which local you want to work with, browse and book direct from their profile. It's the fastest way. If you'd rather have locals find you (especially helpful for less-mapped destinations or complex trips), get free quotes from locals.
Browsing locals is free. Getting quotes is free. You only pay when you choose a local and book a service. Most custom plans sit between $80 and $250, depending on trip length and the type of service.
Most travellers get offers within 48 hours. If you're travelling within the next two weeks, say so. Locals can usually respond same-day.
No, and this is an important distinction. Our locals develop plans based on advice, recommendations and tips. What you do with that information is entirely up to you.
It depends on the type of help you need. A quick tip session might be a video call. A full plan is a detailed document with recommendations pinned on a map, plus advice on accommodation, transport, weather, and culture.
Yes. Direct chat stays open before, during, and after your trip. Many travellers use it for last-minute restaurant bookings or quick questions while on the ground.
